Seethavalokanam Poster Launch

Talented Telugu actress Madhu Shalini starrer mythological short film ‘Seethavalokanam’ show was held on Monday at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad. BJP president of Telangana state Kishan Reddy launched the poster. Chinthala Ramachandra Reddy, Jaya Sudha, Jyothirayi, Roja Ramani, Lagadapati Janaki, Sana and Kavitha and some others have attended the show.

Madhu Shalini has done the role of Seetha. The film was directed by Madala Venu and produced by Thoomu Priyanka on Bahumanya Arts banner. Pragathi and Meena Kumari played crucial roles in the film.

Speaking at the show, Madhu Shalini said, “‘Seethavalokanam’ is receiving good response from the audience and it has given me immense happiness. This short film is a proof that I can do not only glamorous roles, but also Seetha role. I put in lot of efforts for doing Seetha role. I’m thankful to Venu for elevating me and my role.”

Director Madala Venu informs, “’Lava Kusa’ film inspired me to do this short film. When lord Rama is doing Ashwamedha Yagam, we hear Seetha’s weeping. After watching the scene I got this concept in my mind. I’m very happy that the film is receiving good response. Madhu Shalini has given wonderful performance. I’m thankful to everyone who supported me.”

Congratulating the director and producer, Kishan Reddy said, “I’m very happy about the attempt made by director and producer for making this mythological short film ‘Seethavalokanam’.”

“The makers have wonderfully portrayed the inner feeling of Seetha in the short film ‘Seethavalokanam’. These days, many films are being made based on mythology. It is our responsibility to describe our history to the present generation,” said Chinthala Ramachandra Reddy.

Roja Ramani said, “Director has readied the script nearly 7 to 8 years ago. I’ve read the script and I was very impressed. I congratulate the director Venu and producer Priyanka for their attempt. I wish that the film would have made as a full film.”
