The multi-talented AVS, who is an actor, screenplay writer, director, producer and journalist, has won more fame through his blog www.avsfilm.in. AVS writes about movies, social issues, politics and education in his blog. For the first time he is going to present Blog Buster Awards through his blog that has 35,000 viewers. The Bog Buster Awards blog was launched by Darsakaratna Dasari Narayana Rao. Later a press meet was held in which Dasari Narayana Rao, AVS, Sagar, Murali Mohan, SV Krishna Reddy, Burugupalli Siva Ramakrishna, Jayaprakash Narayana, T Prasanna Kumar and others participated.

Dasari Narayana Rao said, “I appreciate AVS for his idea of this Blog Buster Awards. Awards are like tonic to weak artists and injection for producers who are in losses. These awards will give them some kind of energy to perform well in the future. Awards like Dada Saheb and Padma Awards were very precious and prestigious at earlier days. But gradually they have lost their value. I appreciate AVS for organizing this Blog Awards. Through his blog he assured that Telugu cinema is not restricted to Andhra Pradesh alone but will be spread to the entire universe. As per my knowledge this is the first of its kind which AVS attempted. I request not to present the Blog Buster awards through stars and movies influence but to reccognise the talent of technicians and artists. And I hope this event will be a grand success.”

AVS said, “I opened a blog called avsfilm.in and posted articles on social, films, finance, politics and education. I selected 5 journalists as jury members and launched this blog called Blog Buster Awards to present the awards for artists and technicians. There is tremendous response for the information provided through this blog from 24 countries and from almost all the states in India with the total number of viewers ranging to 35,000. There are also ballet boxes regarding this awards. The viewers can choose to vote for their favourite artists and technician. Our jury members will later select the award winners based on the majority votes. I hope everyone will support and encourage me for this effort.”
