‘Uu Kodathara? Ulikki Padathara’ starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, Manchu Manoj, Deeksha Seth , Lakshmi Manchu and Sonu Sood in central roles, directed by Sekhar Raja and produced by Lakshmi Prasanna Manchu on Manchu Entertainment banner with Padmasri Mohan Babu as presenter is all set to hit theaters worldwide on Friday, the 27th July. The unit organised a press meet today to talk about the movie details as well as the piracy related matter.
Mohan Babu said, “I would have seen ‘Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara’ atleast 10 times which my daughter Lakshmi boldly made this film. The entire credit goes to director Sekhar Raja who did a wonderful job and crafted the film excellently. Manoj carried the entire movie on his shoulders. He is sure to get a stardom after the release of this film. Similarly Balayya babu performed a wonderful role. Every frame of the film will thrill the audience. The Tamil and Kannada directors who saw the film along with me have congratulated Lakshmi and team. I wish the audience will watch the film and bless my children.”
Talking about piracy he said, “The producers are spending lot of money and making films. 250 families are living on one family. But piracy is killing the producers and Telugu film industry. What can we say when the distributors themselves are involved in this matter. It’s very sad that the industry is also dealing like ‘Yadha Raja Tatha Praja’. The producers also should take advance precautions well before the release of their films. I request the audience not to encourage piracy and watch the film in theaters. By doing this they will not only save producers but also the film industry.”
Lakshmi Prasanna said, “We have taken precautionary measures with watermarks on all prints so that we can figure out on right time if piracy is done. We request the fans not to encourage piracy and enjoy the film in theaters which we made it by putting in great efforts.”
Manoj and director Sekhar Raja also spoke and requested the audience not to encourage piracy. Later Gazal Srinivas sung a song written on piracy backdrop.
