Natakireeti Dr Rajendra Prasad and Kalyani starrer ‘Onamalu’ with a tagline ‘Manchi Gnapakam Laanti Cinema’ was released on July 27th. Kranti Madhav made his debut as director and won many hearts with his heart-touching movie. This Sun Shine Cinemas’ movie is getting excellent response from all over in India and abroad. Dr Rajendra Prasad said, “In my last press meet I already told that I wouldn’t show my face if ‘Onamalu’ fails to impress the audience. The reason for telling that I wouldn’t show my face to you all if ‘Onamalu’ fails to impress the audience was due to the confidence in the story and the character I played in it. Mother gives birth to the child, father holds the child’s hand when it starts walking and teacher will show the path of life. This movie will showcase only about relationships, bondings, love and affection. My father, who was also a teacher, was one of the reasons for me to do this character Narayana Rao. It’s not an easy task for the director to deal one such story. One should appreciate his guts for choosing this story and showing it on the screen the way he imagined. On behalf of my entire team I wholeheartedly thank the audience for watching the movie and making it a big success.”
