Krishna Vamsi celebrated his 50th birthday today amidst his team of his forthcoming film starring Nani, Catherine and Sidhika. The shooting is presently progressing at Alluminum Factory in Hyderabad. Ramesh Puppala is producing it under Yellow Flowers banner. A press meet was organised at the shooting location on the occasion of Krishna Vamsi’s birthday. Krishna Vamsi, Nani, Catherine, Puppala Ramesh, Raja Ravindra, Ramesh and others attended the press meet.

Krishna Vamsi said, “Right from the beginning I directed movies that I planned. ‘Chakram’ earns me a good name even now. ‘Mogudu’ was the only film that has disappointed me. When it comes to this film, we are yet to choose the title for it. 70% of the shooting has been completed with songs and some part of talkie left. This is an action thriller mixed with love and sentiment. It’s a digital film. The story is about how the man becomes slave to money, trade his self-esteem and do what he wants. We are not pointing out on Jagan or other politicians. The film will be on the backdrop of today’s political scenario and involving Hyderabad in it. Nani is playing a Sherwani Model in old city. Charan Raj is the villain. Producer Ramesh Puppala is a friendly man and cooperating well.” While concluding the press meet Krishna Vamsi said that he would remake ‘Vandemataram’ movie soon if all goes well.

Nani said, “I’m a great of Krishna Vamsi garu right from my college days. I was not allowed to meet him some time ago when I wished to join as assistant director to him. Today I'm very happy to work with the same director. Working with him as an actor is a good learning experience.”

Producer Ramesh Puppala said, “I’m very happy to work with a director who’s pride of Telugu film industry. This movie would certainly be as per the audience expectations. We will announce the title soon.”
