Naayak Press Meet
Ram Charan Tej, Kajal Agarwal and Amala Paul starrer ‘Naayak’ is releasing worldwide on January 9th as Sankranti gift. This action entertainer is directed by VV Vinayak and produced by DVV Danayya under Universal Media banner with music by SS Thaman. As a pre-release promotion a press meet was organised by the film unit in which VV Vinayak, DVV Danayya, dialogue writer Akula Shiva, Radha Krishna, lyricists Chandra Bose, Bhaskara Bhatla, art director Anand Sai, Jaya Prakash Reddy and others participated.
VV Vinayak while speaking, “Producer Danayya was patiently waiting for this film for the past 3 years. We felt very glad on the day the film received censor certificate as much as we feel happy on the movie release day. Our confidence level increased when all 20 members of censor board have appreciated the film. I consider Thaman’s music as the first victory. All songs have received wide response. Working with Charan was like working with young Chiranjeevi. His performance in few angles reminded me of Chiranjeevi garu. Comedy in the Brahmanandam, M S Narayana and J.P is simply superb. Akula Shiva has provided wonderful script and dialogues. He is sure to become a big writer after the release of this film. ‘Naayak’ will certainly make the audience feel good. We are very confident about the film’s success. I thank my entire unit on this occasion.”
Producer Danayya said, “I longed to make a movie with mega star Chiranjeevi garu but it did not materialize due to my inexperience. However, I fulfilled my wish by making ‘Naayak’ with Charan. While watching Charan on the sets, he appeared like yet another Chiranjeevi garu to me. His performance is fantastic. ‘Naayak’ is a mix of action and entertainment. Vinayak’s taking is just amazing. The visuals of all songs are superb. Chota K Naidu did a wonderful job. It’s going to be a visual feast to the audience. It’s going to be a grand release with altogether releasing in 1210 theaters worldwide including 140 at overseas, 100 in Vizag and 40 in Chennai.”
Jaya Prakash Reddy said, “Sometimes we would simply wait to wrap up the shooting as soon as possible and few of them make us think why they have finished so fast. In the case of ‘Naayak’ I felt sad when the shooting got completed because we all have enjoyed working for this film. The audience too will enjoy the film in theaters. I’m very happy for getting the opportunity to work with a wonderful team.”
Chandra Bose, Akula Shiva, Bhaskara Bhatla, Anand Sai, Radha Krishna and others also spoke in the press meet and expressed their views about the film.
