Munumu Song Launch

On the occasion of second anniversary of Telangana formation day, with a prominent TV channel as presenter, a special song ‘Munumu’ has been launched on Tuesday (May 31) at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad. Mittapalli Surendar has given musical tunes and lyrics, while Poorna Chander has directed it. Kalvakuntla Tejeswara Rao has produced it on Maheswara Arts banner.

Rasamari Balakishan, the chairman of Cultural Department, said, “Many great people have struggled to get the independence for Telangana. 50 years long wish of Telangana people have been fulfilled after the formation of separate Telangana state. My relationship with Surendar was started with a song. It’s the song of sacrifices. I also made a film ‘Jai Telangana’ with that concept. Surendar is passing a message through ‘Munumu’ song. I wish he pens many more good songs in future.”

TRS Leader Kranthi Kiran said, “There were many sacrifices and revolutionary wars in Telangana and this has extracted good poets and singers. The song ‘Munumu’ penned by Mittapalli Surendar is wonderful. I wish he will write many more good songs in future.”

“KCR garu strived for the formation of separate Telangana. The song ‘Munumu’ which explains the talent of Telangana people, penned by Surendar is very impressive,” said Kalvakuntla Tejeswara Rao.

Mittapalli Surendar shared, “Kranthi Kiran garu and Tejeswara Rao garu were very impressed by the concept narrated by me and I am thankful to them for giving their support. ‘Munumu’ means Queue.”

Ramya, Bhavani Reddy, Ajay, Roshan Balu and Poorna Chander and few others were present at the song launch event.
