Richa Panai, Baahubali Prabhakar, Prudhvi, Sapthagiri and Brahmaji as the lead cast, A Gururaj is producing a film ‘Rakshaka Bhatudu’ on Sukhibhava Movies banner with Vamsi Krishna Akella as director. Banner logo and motion poster launch event took place to Prasad Labs in Hyderabad on Saturday i.e. on December 10. Prominent producer MS Raju launched the banner logo, while renowned producer Dil Raju revealed the motion poster.
Speaking at the event, MS Raju wished all the best to the newly established production house, director Vamsi Krishna Akella and producer Gururaj.
Wishing the film unit for the success of the film, Dil Raju said, “I wish all the best to Gururaj, who is making his entry into Tollywood through Sukhibhava Movies banner, and the director Vamsi Krishna Akella, who carved successful films like ‘Raksha’ and ‘Jakkanna’ in the past. The concept ‘Rakshaka Bhatudu’ is very fresh. The attempt of the film unit with character artists without any star heroes will become big success.”
On this occasion, producer A Gururaj said, “Director Vamsi Krishna Akella and I are close friends since long time. My entry into the film industry from real estate field is only because of Vamsi Krishna. He asked me to meet him when he was doing ‘Jakkanna’. I was very much impressed by the point narrated by him and that is the reason I turned into producer. We are planning to wrap up the first schedule in this month and the second schedule will commence from the next month. I wish to produce many more good films in future.”
Addressing the gathering, director Vamsi Krishna Akella said, “Small or big films, I don’t bother about that. My earlier films ‘Raksha’ and ‘Jakkanna’ were well received by Telugu audience. The making of ‘Rakshaka Bhatudu’ will be more improvised than my earlier films. The film is being made with fresh concept and with character artists. 30% shooting has already been wrapped up. In the 1 hr 45 min duration film, last 15 min will be very thrilling and the remaining part will goes on in an entertaining mode. Totally, it’s a suspense thriller. We are planning to bring the film to audience in the last week of February, 2017.”
SL Group Chairman Nageswara Reddy and cinematographer Joshi and some others were present at the event.
Richa Panai, Baahubali Prabhakar, Prudhvi, Sapthagiri, Brahmaji, Dhanraj, Adhurs Raghu, Nandu, Ghitram Srinu, Gururaj and Gautham Raju and some others are playing major roles in the film. A special star will also act in a role.
