Having become part of the process of global communication, Bulgarian graphic art has shed many of its local characterlstics. Mr. Y. Kiran Kumar, the Honorary Bulgarian Consul of the Republic of Bulgaria in Andhra Pradesh said, "We are immensely pleased to introduce this iconic Art Exhibition to
Hyderabad. Hyderabad has recently witnessed a surge in interest in Contemporary Art and this Exhibition gives an opportunity to this niche segment to experience the best of the Bulgarian Culture."
Every artist included in the exhibition has his personal approach to "graphic" matter and is focused on the conceptual expression of his ideas. With regards to the content, the exhibition represents both eternal themes and visions of the new globalised world, whose material objects negate the personal significance of the individual.
Some of the masterpieces displayed are Nikolay Maystorov - "Angel", Buyan Filchev - "Bearers of Memories 1 'Hidalgo" and "Bearers of Memories 2 'Night"', Christina Ganeva -
"The Other Side", Evgeni Kuzmanov - "Centaurornachia". For decades the graphic work has been associated with the abstract-figurative style, focused on the expressiveness and its impact. Symbolic in this sense are "The Leap" of Pe~ka Yanush, "Misty Day" of Stefan Markov, "Model" of Vassillndjev, "Sport XXI" of Petar Petrov.
