ATA 2012 convention Flash Mob Kick Off
American Telugu Association (ATA) inviting every person of Telugu origin living in America to come to Atlanta Georgia from July 6 th through July 8th to fill the halls of the world famous Georgia World Congress Center to witness the Telugu Gala organized to celebrate our presence in America and our efforts to preserve our culture and traditions. With known reputation of organizing excellent conferences that are second to none, ATA teamed with local Telugu organizations with co-host TAMA and Cosponsor GATA is all geared up to welcome you all to Atlanta with variety programs including but not limited to educational, literary, entertainment and cultural activities.
The ATA national team under the leadership of President Rajender Jinna along with his team of President Elect Karunakar Madhavaram, Secretary Ram Mohan Konda, Treasurer Satyanaryana kandimalla, Convention Convener Karunakar Asireddy, Convention Coordinator Jagan Mohan Rao, Convention Secretary Parmesh Bheemreddy, and with other members of this team (ad-hoc committee) , various committee chairs and members are putting the final touches to all programs comprising of various cultural, spiritual, banquet, food, sports, literary, seminar events that would appeal to all generations of Telugu heritage migrated from Andhra Pradesh as well as the generation that is born and raised here in USA.
In spirit of upcoming ATA 2012 convention ATA Flash Mob Kick Off took place at Great South Lawn in Centennial Olympic Park, Atlanta, GA USA on June 24th 2012 under leadership of ATA convention convener Karunakar Asireddy. It was celebrated in a grand style in more novelistic way, which is adapted to this theme as per the changing times as quoted by Mr. Narendar Reddy. More than 150 members of Telugu community’s kids, teens, youth, parents and grandparents from Atlanta suburbs participated in this event and made it a big success that is one of its kind in entire Telugu speaking world.. This entire event is directed by Ram Gangaraju, a serial entrepreneur with successful ventures in his bag. The dance performed by participants, who have done extremely great practice is choreographed by Pran Gangaraju, who wants to be an aspiring youth icon, who is also finalist for “ I WANT TO BE AMERICAN PRESIDENT” Contest that is conducted by Ravi Singareddy, who also coordinated this ATA 2012 FLASH MOB KICK OFF EVENT. This event would have NOT been possible without the commitment in making this event happen by Maitreyi Gangaraju, c0-chair for ATA WOMEN’s FORUM, who is coming with seven events for women, which is FIRST OF ITS KIND, also! Mr. Ram Durvasula, co-chair of ATA Cultural Committee has supported with his DJ skills. This event is to promote and invite more & more of Telugu fans across the North America.
