INFL felicitates Saina Nehwal
Hyderabad, July 15, 2012: Indo Nissin Foods Limited (INFL), the makers of Top Ramen noodles, today felicitated its Brand Ambassador, SainaNehwal, India's No.1 Badminton player and one of India's top hopes for the upcoming Olympic Games in London. INFL is also an Official Co-sponsor of the Indian Olympic contingent this year.
The Managing Director of INFL, Mr. Yuji Tabeta, presented Saina with a souvenir and wished her luck for the upcoming Olympics at her residence this morning. Speaking about his meeting with Saina, Mr. Tabeta said, "Saina has been associated with Top Ramen since January 2011 and we are very proud of her success on the badminton court internationally. On behalf of the entire Indo Nissin family, all our associates and customers, I take this opportunity to wish her the very best, and encourage her to "Be the Champion" at the world's foremost athletic meet."
Further, commenting on their association with the IOA this year, he said, "We are privileged to be associated with the IOA, and in turn support the entire Indian contingent that is leaving to London for the Olympics. When we re-launched our flagship brand, Top Ramen with the new brand proposition of 'Be the Champion', we started this with an insight, i.e. 'there's a champion in every child'. We found that the best way to emphasize this belief and reach out to our target group would be helping the cause of Indian Athletes at the Olympics - an event famed for the celebration of sportsmanship.
