After a grand preview in Mumbai that took place on September 2, the eagerly awaited fashion extravaganza kickstarted in Chandigarh followed by Kolkata, Bangalore and now showcasing the best of glamour in Hyderabad over the weekend. The show featured Falguni 8i Shane, Nandita Mahtani, Asmita Marwa and Fleets Lulla on day 2 of BPFT.

They have dressed the hottest Bollywood and Hollywood stars and are known for their very avant garde and futuristic fashion sensibilities. Falguni and Shane Peacock believe in moving fast forward in fashion. Known for their voluminous creation the designers now prefer a more lean and moulded look for the garments. Using beautiful bugle beads, sequins and diamantes the clothes are something that the wearer can relate to for daily use. For fashion that looks great on the or off the Red Carpet then Falguni and Shane Peacock have the right choices.

From the beauty of the Red Carpet look to the casual style of the beach party that is what the collection from Nandita Mahtani is all about. The colour palette is full of bright pop colours like neon green, pink that move into lots of summer hues with metallic gold added to it. Embroidery in the collection is very subtle with gold, copper and bronze playing a major role, which gives the overall look of the creations a very sexy, feminine, glamorous and timeless appearance. Staying away from prints this time, Nandita Mahtani has worked with solid colours for the ensembles, which are aimed at today's confident independent woman who parties in the city or at holiday resorts.

For designer Asmita Marwa her "La Vie En Rose" line is perfect resort holiday wear for men and women. It is a collection that is inspired by the 60s and 70s Woodstock era of fashion when freedom, peace and music expression defined the lives of people. Asmita has fairly structured silhouettes but there is a lot of fluidity in the cropped pants, tunics, shirts and she has added a few feathers for collars that create the hippy chic era look. Men's shirts follow the batik story in pink, blue and green with lots of black. The detailing is restricted to raw edges which appear for collars and hemlines and the interesting addition is press buttons, which are the highlight of the collection. Rana Daggubati featured as the showstopper for Asmita's collection.

The Blenders Pride Fashion Tour 2011 is supported by the best in the Industry- Alison Woodham for choreography, Ambika Pillai for makeup and features only the finest runway models.

Here is glamour of the ultimate kind with a marked Gothic touch showing the darker side of designer Neeta Lulla. Inspired by the beautiful Hollywood actress Monica Bellucci there are touches of baroque and a sensuous style statements. The collection reveals a new aspect of the designer's creativity. For a look of pure sophisticated elegance that is subtle but refined then the Gothic glamour collection offered by Neeta Lulla is the perfect option. Model/Actres Deeksha Seth looked chic in Neeta's collection as the show stopper.
