J K Bharavi is all set to direct a devotional film titled ‘Sri Jagadguru Aadishankara’ under Global Peace Creators banner. To brief the details for the film a press meet was held at Film Chamber of Commerce in Hyderabad in which JK Bharavi, Prasanna Kumar, Nag Srivatsav, Konda Krishnamraju and Narajayasri participated.

Addressing the media JK Bharavi said, “So far five heroes have agreed to do the film just by hearing to the title ‘Sri Jagadguru Aadishankara’. I’m filming this movie mainly for the youth. Today’s generation must know his life history. At the age of 32 he excelled in writing and he went on foot from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. The life history of Shankaracharya will inspire the youth. This movie will be made with commercial elements. There are altogether 16 songs in this film and we had different experience with each song. India’s top singers have rendered their voices for the songs in this film. We are making efforts to rope in SP Balasubrahmaniam for singing a song. These songs were heard by many sages and pundits after which they have offered their blessings. The singers who sang the songs did not take any remuneration. We will launch the film on Ugadi day and let you know the remaining details then.”

Konda Krishnamraju said, “Sri Jagadguru Aadishankara’ is equal to ‘Annamayya’, ‘Sree Ramadasu’ and ‘Sri Manjunatha’. Those films belong to historical genre. But though the story is known to everyone, this film will be made as per the taste of today’s youth. The future generation will cherish the films that he wrote the scripts. The songs in this film are excellent. Jaya Sridevi did 23 films in Kannada with almost all heroes.”

Nag Srivatsav who scored music for ‘Sri Jagadguru Adishankara’ said, “I’m honored to do music for this film. These kind of films are very essential for today’s youth. Bharavi garu wrote many such films for which Keeravani garu created prestige through his music. So I tried to keep up those standards while composing tunes for this film. There are many sthothrams in this film. I hope this movie will earn good name for everyone associated with this film.”

Nara Jaya Sridevi said, “I requested Bharavi garu to do this film better than ‘Annamayya’, ‘Sriramadasu’ and Sri Manjunatha’ since the story is outstanding. All songs are excellent. My friends and cousins have started this banner and have asked me to take care of production.”
