I want the girls today to identify themselves with my characters - Hansika

It’s inevitable that if an actress fails to make it in one language, she tries her luck in another. Yes! Now we are discussing about one of the most beautiful heroines Hansika Motwani, who made a decent entry in Bollywood and later stepped into Tollywood through Puri Jagannath’s ‘Desamuduru’ and won many male hearts. Not stopping with that she also mesmerized her male fans through her sexy looks in ‘Kantri’. But later she could not sustain her place in Telugu as her following films like ‘Maska’, ‘Jayeebhava’ and ‘Seetharamula Kalyanam’ failed miserably at the box-office. Hence the actress shifted to Kollywood to test the waters there and luckily her foray in Tamil was really good as she tasted success through her very first film ‘Mappillai’ opposite Dhanush.

Now after giving a considerable gap in Telugu, Hansika is back with two films – ‘Kandireega’ and ‘Oh My Friend’. Both these films have two heroines, but according to Hansika, she doesn’t mind sharing screen with another heroine as long as she is playing the main role. She also said, “Appearing in glamorous role is not a bad idea as long as I don’t make the family audience uncomfortable. I’m aiming at such roles that make the girls today to identify themselves with the characters that I play.” So folks, let’s all welcome back this ‘Desamuduru’ girl who is expecting a great career in Tollywood through these two films.
