'I Always Wanted To Work With Talented People' - PREMPAK Hero Chandrakanth

I was born and brought up in Hyderabad. Technically I’m a Hyderabadi who completed Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Malla Reddy Engineering College and did my Masters in AMS, Mechanical.

I started my acting when I was 7 years in my school play. I took acting as a carrier after finishing my 12th grade. My dad advised me to finish my Bachelors and then I can continue acting. I didn't know why my dad said that at that age, but it makes total sense now to me.

I moved to New York 2 years back to pursue my acting course. I attended The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film institute.

One day Govi sir contacted me with the script offering me the lead role in the film. I always wanted to work with talented people which helps me to learn a lot in my pursuit.

Directed by debutant Govardhan G ‘Prema Entha Madhuram Priyuraalu Antha Katinam (PEMPAK)’ is getting ready for release. The hero of the film Chandrakanth is also new and he is from Hyderabad. Mostly shot in America, this romantic entertainer also casted seniors like Thanikella Bharani, Tulasi and Gemini Suresh. Produced under Third eye creations, the movie is getting ready for release in September second half.
