RGV admits copying the Tamil song
Apr 18, 2012
Ram Gopal Varma admits that his ‘Dan Dan….’ song is a copy of Rajnikanth’s ‘Aasai Nooru….’. He said, “Yes, I’ve taken few lines, i.e., the first 30 secs from ‘Aasai Nooru….’ since I was inspired by those lines and I love that song a lot. So far all item songs that I shot in my films are popular numbers. This time I’ve taken this song and shot on Nathalia in ‘Department’.” RGV shot ‘Dan Dan…’ on his latest discovery Nathalia Kaur. However, as soon as the song was released, he had to face the public criticism over copying the Tamil song. According to him, his style of ‘Dan Dan…’ pciturisation is like a tribute to Rajni’s Tamil song ‘Aasai Nooru…’.
