Rajnikanth’s most anticipated 3D film ‘Kochadaiyaan’ (Vikram Simha in Telugu) is said to be releasing on 12.12.2012, the superstar’s birthday. The film was supposed to be released for Diwali, however the makers have zeroed in on this special day marking Rajni’s birthday on December 12th. Interestingly the audio release is planned in Tokyo (capital city of Japan), where the superstar has a huge fan following. The event is to take place either in September or October. Remember ‘Robo’ audio was launched at Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.
This Eros International’s magnum opus which is directed by Rajni’s younger daughter Soundarya is presently in post production work. The movie is simultaneously being made in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and English languages. The technicians are working hard to maintain the standards of ‘Avatar’, ‘Tin Tin’, etc.
Another interesting aspect of the film is that the producers have sealed a special deal with a mobile manufacturing company. The outcome of the deal is that over five lakh mobiles will have an embedded behind-the-scene clippings and the film’s trailer along with superstar Rajnikanth’s autograph on the backside of the phones.
Rajnikanth-Deepika Padukone’s this 3D entertainer has been shot using Motion Caputre Technology. Rajni plays an 8th century Pandya king. Aadi, Sarath Kumar, Shobana, Rukhmini, and Jackie Sharoff played the supporting roles. Music is composed by maestro A R Rahman. The Telugu rights have been acquired by Lakshmi Ganapathi Films banner.
