Shivaji 3D in October

AVM Productions is in process of bringing back India’s most celebrated film in 3D. ‘Shivaji’, the 2007 political thriller with ensemble cast including superstar Rajnikanth, Shriya, Vivek, Suman and Raghuvaran was created by Shankar with super sensational hit songs and background score by A R Rahman, mind-blowing cinematography by K V Anand and beautiful sets by Thotta Tharani.

The ‘Shivaji’ conversion to 3D format is going since one year. The reason for taking so long is the sharp editing by cutting scenes over 48 minutes in length without damaging the main plot. In this process the run time now has become 137 minutes from 185 minutes. ‘Shivaji’ 3D is expected to be released in October.
