65th National Awards: Baahubali 2 wins 3 honors, ‘Ghazi’ gets Best Telugu Film

The announcement of the 65th National Film Awards was held at PIB Conference Room, Shastri Bhawan on April 13 in New Delhi. The jury was headed by Famous filmmaker Shekar Kapoor. This is very proud moment for all Telugu people. Rana Daggubati starrer ‘Ghazi’ has bagged the Best Telugu Film award. ‘Ghazi’ that starred Rana Daggubati, Taapsee Pannu, Ompuri, Kay Kay Menon and Atul Kulkarni was directed by Sankalp Reddy and produced by Prasad V Potluri. SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘Baahubali - The Conclusion’ has won in three categories - Best Popular Film, Best Action Director and Best Special Effects. Late Sri Devi has been awarded the Best Actress award for ‘Mom’.

The award ceremony will be held on May 3, 2018. National Film Awards will be presented by President Ram Nath Kovind.
