Omakuchi Narasimhan the popular comedy artist who did in innumerable number of film passed away at the age of 71 years at his residence in Chennai.

He did in films with along with artists Koundamani, Senthil, Vivek and Vadivelu. His humorous roles in ‘Mandesurudu” his comedy in ‘Oke Okkadu’ as father in-law to Vadivelu is still remembered. He worked in several languages including Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, Marathi and English films. He is a versatile comedy artist and his boisterous comedy scenes done by him will ever be remembered by the audience.

He is survived by his wife Saraswathi, daughters Vijayalakshmi, Nirmala, Sangeetha and son Kameshwaran. The last rites will be performed on Saturday after the film persons pay their homage to the departed actor.
