On the eve of Dr Rajasekhar’s birthday tomorrow, a press meet was arraranged today at his residence today. Dr Rajasekhar and his wife Jeevita participated. Rajasekhar said, “We have won Rs 10 lakhs in a game show organized by Gemini TV. We are getting Rs 7 lakhs in hand. So we planned to add some more amount and launch a hospital for the workers at Film Nagar. Film Nagar Housing Society has already said that they would be granting a piece of land to build a hospital. This hospital will be run with a doctor and a nurse. We have also discussed about this subject with some senior doctors for which they showed their concern and agreed to do consultancy once a week. So on this birthday I wanted to initiate this and make it a special one. On other hand as usual we arranged the lunch for the children at orphanages.”
On questioning about his film career he said, “Last year I was busy at campaigning for elections, then it was YSR’s death followed by floods and then the political heat. So due to all these things happening one after the other I could not concentrate much on films. Currently I listened to a story called ‘Comrade’ by producer DS Rao. I liked the story so we are launching it tomorrow on the occasion of my birthday, The film is going to be directed by a new comer Anil.”
“Regarding the film on Dr YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s life history, Puri and I are planning to sit for script work only after Puri completes his present project ‘Golimaar’ with Gopichand,” he concluded.
