Despite winning three Nandi awards and also the prestigious National award, the film ‘1940 Lo Oka Gramam’ could not reach the public because there were no takers. Today, in a talk show in TV9 channel, Bellamkonda Suresh spoke to the channel over phone and said that he would take the responsibility to release the film all over state provided TV9 channel would take the responsibility to promote the film. For that TV9 Ravi Prakash gave an immediate green signal to promote the film as it has brought pride to Telugu people by winning a national award. Director Narasimha Nandi, hero Baladitya and music director Saketh Sairam were the participants in the talk show. Bellamkonda Suresh also invited Narasimha Nandi to meet him today so that they can initiate the process immediately. One must really appreciate the guts of Bellamkonda Suresh who took instant decision and made an announcement without a second thought.
