I wouldn't mind doing guest roles if the story is good-Kajal

Beautiful and busy actress Kajal Agarwal has had a great successful career down South. Last year, she appeared in two huge hit Telugu films 'Naayak' and 'Baadshah'. This year also, she has been part of yet another hit film 'Yevadu' and continues to expand her ever-growing career in the industry. So here we (Media) spoke to the lovely lady about her recent successful film'Yevadu'and what she hopes to accomplish in the near future.....

Well you have certainly have achieved some great things throughout your career. What interested you accept a guest role in 'Yevadu' while you are at the peak of your career?Firstly, it was the script that impressed me and secondly director Vamsi being a good friend of mine.  Above all Dil Raju's selection of stories is known to all.  This is my third film on his banner and so far all have been good hits.  Similarly all my films in Ram Charan's combination have been big hits.  Likewise this is my second film with Allu Arjun after 'Arya 2'.  Irrespective of big or small films I wouldn't mind doing even guest roles if the story really impresses me.

So you knew this is what you wanted to do in 'Yevadu', right?
Actually Vamsi narrated 'Yevadu' story to me two years ago and asked me to do the female lead role.  But due to my other commited films I couldn't adjust my dates.  However I'm very happy with the cameo I did.  Yes, my screen presence is just 10 minutes duration.  But there is huge applauds from audience for the character Deepthi I played.

You have appeared in 'Naayak' and 'Baadshah' which were huge hits in 2013, but there was no sign of you in Telugu industry after that.  What made you to keep away from Telugu films
There is no specific reason for doing so.  I was just busy with two other Tamil films and also my sister Nisha's wedding.  My next film with Ram Charan under Krishna Vamsi's direction is staring  on February 8th.  I've a very good role to play in this film.  You are aware about the huge hit film 'Chandamama' under Krishna Vamsi's direction.

There is talk that you do not compromise in remuneration.  We also heard that you are not showing interest in the promotional events of Tamil films.  Can you tell us what is it all about?
No, that's not true.  I never think anything from commercial point of view.  I started off my acting career in Telugu film industry and I'm very happy doing Telugu films. Hence I don't have any thoughts of distancing myself from Telugu industry.  Similarly speculations on my keeping away from promoting Tamil movies is also not true, because I always considered it as my responsibility to promote my films.

Okay! If your first preference is Tollywood, what have you decided on Bollywood?
As told before, I started off my acting career in the South.  So my first preference will always be South.  I'm very happy doing films here.  While I can do four films down here, I'll have to be satisfied with just a film there.  So  when it's compared that way, my career is strong in the South.

When are you planning to get married?
(Laughs) May be in another two or three years.
