What is the reason behind the title Namo Venkatesa?
‘Namo Venkatesa’ is not a kind of action masala but a pure out and out comedy flick. I do a role of Parvathaneni Venkata Ramana who has a mannerism to pray God reciting ‘Namo Venkatesa’ whenever a good happens in my surrounding. I am an ardent devotee of Lord Venkateswara and always look for only good deeds around me. But even for one such character there has been a temptation and strong belief that he will meet a beautiful lady in his life as his life partner.
We heard Brahmanandam plays a strong role. Can we know something about it?

What is your opinion about Sreenu Vaitla’s contribution?
Whenever we talk about comedy I know that everybody will think of my movies like ‘Nuvvu Naaku Nachchav’, Intlo Illalu Vantintlo Priyuralu’, ‘Malleeswari’, ‘Kalisundham Raa’, etc. When it comes to this movie Sreenu Vaitla put in special efforts to project my character, i.e., Venkata Ramana, in a very special way. I really appreciate his sense of timing in entertainment and I expect this movie to be a great success.

How do you explain your experience in doing this film?
Whatever the efforts we put in churning out a good performance it’s ultimately the audience who give their verdict on the film. As an artist I give my best to the movie and leave the rest to the audience. During the making of a film one should not keep worrying about the outcome of the movie instead concentrate for the moment in giving the best performance possible. I did exactly that and have now presented my performance to you all to judge.
