Manchu Vishnu issues a statement on MAA building

On Sunday, a free health check-up camp was held for the members of the Movie Artists Association in Hyderabad. The new President Manchu Vishnu was present on the occasion.

Speaking to the media, Vishnu said that the camp was held under the aegis of Medicover Hospitals. "In all, 914 members availed themselves of the master health check-up facility. Madala Ravi anna has been taking care of everything related to the health check-up. This will be held every year in the second week of December. Medicover Hospitals has a separate check-up plan up for journalists." Raghu Babu, the MAA General Secretary, said that health has to be the first priority. Siva Balaji, the MAA Treasurer, was also present.

Vishnu added that meetings have been held regarding the proposed building dedicated to the MAA. An announcement is expected within a week.

He said that the resignations tendered by Prakash Raj and others soon after the MAA elections have been accepted by him.
