Vivek and Mervin, the Chennai-based composers, are debuting in Telugu with Andhra King Taluka. Having already done 20 movies in Tamil, they have the music sense that the emotional drama with commercial ingredients needed. In this interview, they talk about working on the Ram Pothineni-Upendra movie. The film releases in theatres on November 27.

Prior to the movie's release, we have unveiled only four songs. Three more songs have been hidden. The audience will have to experience them in theatres, as they are integrated with the story. Visually, each of the songs is stunning.

There is an element of retro soundscape. Each of the songs has given us tremendous satisfaction, considering the encouraging response. We have given a lot of importance to the lyrics for the songs in this film. Audiences will greatly enjoy all these songs, like Nuvvuntey Chaalu and Chinni Gundelo in the theater. The tuning was organic. It was also a collaborative process, with all key players participating in the jamming.

It helped that Ram's music sense is wonderful. As someone who listens to all genres of music, he has a grip on the subject. We finished the recordings for all the songs even before the film's first schedule was completed.

This is a very unique story. We have tried a lot of new sounds in the background score as well. You will have a very fresh experience while watching the film. We created almost thirty themes for this movie. We will release the OST after the film's release.

Mythri Movie Makers stands as one of India's most prestigious production houses. We sincerely appreciate the invaluable support provided by the producers (Y Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni). Their enthusiasm for the music settings was especially infectious. It was a genuine pleasure working alongside them, and we consider it a great privilege to have been a part of this film.
