"The first half will connect more with the youth, while the second half will connect with both youth and family audiences. Audiences will definitely feel they have watched a complete entertainer," say producers Subrahmanyam Naidu G and Sumanth Naidu G, ahead of the theatrical release of Vishnu Vinyasam. Coming out in theatres on February 27, the comedy entertainer is directed by Yadunath Maruthi Rao.
Vishnu Vinyasam is an out-and-out entertainer. Comedy stories usually connect with audiences more when they are seen on screen rather than just heard. We enjoyed the story a lot when we first heard it, and we enjoyed it even more after watching it on screen.
Sree Vishnu often improvises many dialogues on the spot, and the audience will thoroughly enjoy those moments. He was very supportive. Thanks to his cooperation, Mrithyunjay has been postponed to the first week of March. So, you will be seeing a comedy first and a thriller next. We cannot forget his support in this matter. Since they are two completely different genres, audiences will definitely enjoy them in theatres.
The story of Vishnu Vinyasam primarily revolves around the hero’s character. Along with that, there is another interesting track. It will be a wholesome family entertainer. The hero’s character strongly believes in numerology, and that aspect will be thoroughly entertaining throughout. The heroine’s track and the two families shown in the story are also hilarious.
The film carries a strong comedy track that travels along with the story. If you look at Sree Vishnu’s films, they usually rely heavily on one-liners and comedy. But in VV, there is a well-written character and wholesome family entertainment that will connect with everyone. Actress Nayan Sarika (AAY and KA fame) is a very good performer. She has delivered an excellent performance in this film. She is perfectly apt for this character.
Composer Radhan completed all the songs during the pre-production stage itself. He has given us very good songs. The background score is also excellent. We are very happy with the music. All songs are penned by Ramajogayya Sastry.
We have produced two films so far. Harom Hara (starring Sudheer Babu) was a new experience for us as first-time producers. It had excellent technical values. After that experience, we have discovered what audiences really want. In Vishnu Vinyasam, you will see the kind of story that suits Sree Vishnu's image perfectly. With the satisfaction this film has given us, we are ready to produce two more films. We are focusing on stories that audiences can relate to.
I am a firm believer that quality content always finds its audience. With the post-Sankranti release lull, there is a perfect window for a fresh experience at the cinemas. I am confident that our film will resonate so well that viewers will leave the theater with a genuine smile.
Two films are currently in the pre-production stage. We will announce them soon. Right now, my (Sumanth) focus is entirely on production. If the films I produce build enough confidence in me, I will think about pursuing acting. I particularly like love stories and romantic comedies.
