Vishnu Vinyasam is a laugh riot: Actor Sree Vishnu

Actor Sree Vishnu is back to entertain the audience with his upcoming film Vishnu Vinyasam, set to hit theaters this Friday, February 27. The project was set in motion after Director Yadunaath Maruthi narrated a story that Sree Vishnu found instantly relatable and engaging. Describing it as a perfect family entertainer, the SWAG and Single actor notes that the film's strength lies in its situational comedy and well-etched characters.

Vishnu Vinyasam is something you can watch with your family and have a good laugh. We started the project right after I heard the narration because the script felt so right. I appear as a lecturer who follows specific numbers and certain beliefs. Doing a character like this is new for me, and the timing is slightly different from what you have seen before. There is a sequence called 'Veeri Veeri Gummadi Pandu' that will make the entire theater burst out laughing. The interval portion is also unexpectedly entertaining, and the film is packed with situational comedy.

My co-star Satya, who plays my fellow lecturer, makes the scenes very entertaining. It is a perfect weekend time-pass where you can sit back and laugh comfortably for two hours.

The heroine’s character is quite dominating and a bit suspicious, which keeps creating problems for my character. The audience will really enjoy that dynamic because it generates a lot of fun. Nayan Sarika performed excellently; she even handled two to three pages of a scene in a single take. While the first half will connect more with the youth, the second half will resonate with both youth and families. The family comedy in the latter portion will be greatly enjoyed.

Director Maruthi handled the film very well. He has a lot of clarity and a strong grip on editing. Having experienced technicians on board was also a big plus. Our producers, Subramanyam and Sumanth, supported us 100% and gave us a lot of freedom. In fact, we completed the film within 15% less than the planned budget, and the producers are very happy with the final result.

It is very satisfying that the OTT deals for this film, Mrithyunjay, and three other projects have already been closed. It makes me happy when producers recover their investment even before the release. This gives us the opportunity to make films carefully within our budget bracket. I always think that it is enough if the producers recover the money they invest, and I am glad things are working out that way.

Regarding my upcoming work, Comrade Kalyan is 80% complete and will be something very new. I am also starting a film soon with Ram Abbaraju and another with a new director named Sunny at Sithara Entertainments. They are even writing a sequel for one of my films. All the stories I am choosing are about middle-class setups and situations we see around us. These films don't take years to make; they can be completed in 60 to 70 working days. Making people laugh is difficult, but since we focus on situational comedy, it is working out well.
