"Whatever character I play should be good and should appeal to me. Only then would I be interested in doing a film. Also, it’s not enough for just the character to be good; the film itself should perform well. The story should be strong," says Dr. Rajasekhar, who plays Sharwanand's father in Biker. Scheduled to hit the cinemas on April 3, it will open in theatres with April 2nd evening premiere shows in the domestic market. In this interview, the senior actor talks about the film, produced by UV Creations.

In terms of story, Biker has a blockbuster written all over it. My character was written wonderfully. I am eagerly waiting for the film’s release.

Abhilash Reddy is a talented filmmaker who knows what he wants from his actors. He has a strong grip on both the story and the character. He never compromises until he gets what he envisions. He is a director with great involvement. He was very clear about every aspect related to this character. I have been presented in a completely fresh manner, thanks to the director’s vision and the strength of the story. Audiences who watch the film will definitely appreciate my character.

The bike racing sequences are a standout, delivering the kind of high-octane thrill typically reserved for Hollywood blockbusters. However, the film isn't just about adrenaline; the emotional core between the father and son is beautifully crafted. The sentimental depth adds a layer of heart that balances the action perfectly. I have loved bikes since childhood. There used to be a Bullet bike at my grandmother’s house. Whenever I went there during holidays, I would ride that Bullet all around the village. After that, my interest in bikes kept growing. During the making of Sheshu in the early 2000s, I personally bought a Yamaha 650cc bike and used it for the shoot. After that, I used to ride the same bike every day. Seeing the way I rode, without even telling me, my wife sold that bike saying I was riding too riskily (laughs). In Biker, my character’s name is Bullet Sunil. You will have to watch the movie to know the full details about this character.

UV Creations is synonymous with excellence. Known for their "royal treatment" of projects, they spared no expense in bringing this film to life with Hollywood-level production standards. From the depth of the subject matter to the technical quality, their commitment was uncompromising. This level of investment deserves immense appreciation, and I have no doubt the film will be a massive success, yielding a well-deserved return for the producers.

I am doing a film titled Magadu, directed by Pavan Sadineni. About 20% of it is still pending, and the shoot is expected to resume next month. Also, I am doing another film along with Ramya, Vishwadev and Shivani. That shoot is currently in progress, and we will be announcing the title soon.

My family is my greatest strength. They are a big reason why this movie and my character turned out so well. My wife, Jeevitha, and my children provide incredible support. While I was filming, they looked after me like a mother would. They even dropped me off and picked me up from work, just like taking a child to school! Movies are both our passion and our job, so our home always feels like a film studio. We love going to the theater to see every new release. Whenever a new story or character comes along, we sit down as a family to discuss it and talk about what happens on set. Because we are all in the movie business, we understand each other perfectly.
