With Peddi gearing up for a grand worldwide theatrical release on June 4, producer Venkata Satish Kilaru shares his insights, experiences, and absolute confidence in the film during an exclusive press meet. Under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner, in association with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, this Buchi Babu Sana directorial has already closed its pre-release business deals successfully. Here is the full conversation with the producer as he reflects on his journey, the dedication of the team, and what makes this film an unforgettable theatrical experience.

It was my absolute fortune that Ram Charan garu agreed to do this film. I am incredibly grateful to him because this grand project would not have been possible without his nod.

Words fall short to describe his dedication. He trained intensely with a special coach for two years. He pushed his physical limits despite injuries and even showed up to shoot the day after receiving stitches near his eye (in March). Our hero delivered an intense performance, thanks to the physiotherapy he received whenever his body struggled. His resolve was to ensure there was no compromise on the director's vision.

I was present on the set every single day, and when we wrapped up the final day of shooting, the hero, director, and the entire team became deeply emotional because we had maintained such a positive environment throughout the schedules.

Director Buchi Babu Sana has delivered a fantastic story that serves as a complete package. Expect extraordinary commercial elements and deep emotions that will keep the audience glued to their seats from start to finish. While he might have initially shared the script with his mentor Sukumar garu during the scripting stage, the latter had no direct involvement in the making; Buchi Babu handled everything independently from day one of production.

Every single actor has a character deeply rooted in the narrative, and stalwarts like Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu Sharma, Boman Irani, and Tinnu Anand completely excelled.

The director was adamant from the very beginning about signing legendary music director AR Rahman, who became incredibly excited after hearing the narration and worked harder than any of us to compose a wonderful album.

Visually, cinematographer R. Rathnavelu has delivered his absolute best; he captured a world set against a 1980s backdrop. Our art director Avinash Kolla built incredible, specialized sets for the movie, and we also shot extensively on location in Sri Lanka, Pune, and Delhi to maintain authenticity.

Coming from an agricultural family with a father who is a farmer, I studied in Vijayawada and entered the construction sector after completing my engineering degree. My close friend Naveen Yerneni (of Mythri Movie Makers) is deeply passionate about cinema, and that shared passion is what eventually led us into the film industry.

As a producer, I found that challenges become smooth depending entirely on how you approach them. Our journey on this film has been exceptionally happy, cool, and smooth without any major hurdles.

We are completely relaxed and calm before the release because we have immense confidence in our content. The entire business for the film has already been closed, allowing us to enjoy this phase without any stress. The expectations are sky-high, but the upcoming trailer will push that excitement even further, making audiences want to rush to the theaters immediately. Viewers will not feel like moving from their seats from the title cards until the very end, and we are planning a massive release across the Telugu states, pan-India, and overseas.

I am excited to share that my next production venture will be with Nandamuri Balakrishna garu.
