Rana Daggubati’s ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’ the joint venture of Suresh Productions and Blue Planet Entertainments, is releasing worldwide on August 11. On this occasion, the makers of the film have arranged press meet on Sunday i.e. on August 6 at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad. Directed by Teja, ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’ is produced by Suresh Daggubati, CH Bharath Chowdhary and V Kiran Reddy with Movie Moghul Dr. Daggubati Ramanaidu as presenter. Anup Rubens is providing musical scores. Vivek Kuchibotla and Abhiram Daggubati are executive producers.
Speaking at the press meet, D Suresh Babu said, “When I listened to the script ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’, I felt that Rana would be perfectly apt to the story. Suresh Productions and Blue Planet Entertainments banners have jointly produced the film. CH Bharath Chowdhary and V Kiran Reddy are foraying into film industry as producers through this film. Recently, someone has asked me about entering into the film industry as producers. Some people may make profits and some may not. Production field is not a golden path like everyone think. I had dream to make Rana as hero through a film like ‘Khaidi’. At that time Sekhar Kammula garu came up with ‘Leader’. I suggested him to make that film with Venkatesh, but Sekhar picked only Rana. As a father, I was a bit tensed when my son is working on another banner. Some of his films have become success and some didn’t do well. As a father I am always trying to offer him a super hero or super villain role. After the super success of ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Ghazi’, Teja came up with a story ‘Aham’. Teja asked rana to play villain. Rana was very much impressed and we wend a head. We have producing the film in association with Blue Planet. The film turned out as classic movie. I got satisfied with Rana’s acting. He made me cry with some scenes. The film was shot at beautiful locations of Karaikudi, Kurnool and Anantapuram areas. Teja is one of the most successful debut directors in Tollywood. Despite a string of failures, Teja is not a dejected soul. Everyone knows his talent. With the great confidence that he can make a good film, we came forward to produce ‘Aham’. Jogendra and Radha have acted as a classic couple. There will be another lady in the film. Our elders will give us some aim. We may get into wrong track sometimes. The story of the film is about Jogendra who gets into wrong track and how he realizes later. The story is in the lines of ‘Nayagan’. ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’ is releasing on August 11. Nithin’s ‘Lie’ and Bayapati’s ‘Jaya Janaki Nayaka’ are also releasing on the same date. There is a problem with theaters. In my opinion, these kind of films should not be released at once. I tried to convince the makers of those two films, but no one has stepped back. If Ajith’s film is slated for release on August 11, we might have pushed back the release of NRNM to August 25. Because, Rana is a big fan of Ajith. He has great passion for films. I don’t have much knowledge on visual effects. For example, I am planning to make a film on animals with Venkatesh as hero. But, I don’t have much knowledge on visual effects. We can’t make big budget films without visual effects. If I gain knowledge on that, I will definitely start a big budget film. ‘Adhigo’, a film on piglet, has been made on our banner. It’s a technical film. It has been eight months since the film has got ready. We are planning to release the film after two months. If everything goes well, we will release ‘Adhigo’ trailer along with NRNM or in this month.”
Producers Kiran Reddy and Bhrath Chowdary expressed their happiness for making their Tollyood entry through a wonderful film.
