'My Name Is Shruthi', starring Hansika Motwani in the lead, will be released in theatres soon. Its teaser was released today at the hands of Telangana Cinematography Minister T Srinivas Yadav at an event in Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said, "I am confident that the film is going to become a hit. It seems to marry the crime thriller genre with a message. My friend Burugu Ramya Prabhakar Goud has produced it. We need to encourage new-age talent in the film industry. If new content is brought out, it will boost the health of the industry. We have increased the ticket praises keeping the interests of the film industry in mind. And in order to encourage small and message-oriented movies, the number of shows has been increased from four to five per day. Under the leadership of KCR garu, we want to make Hyderabad a hub of the film industry." The Minister spoke of the importance of the film industry in employment generation, besides how the government has been taking pro-active steps for its well-being.
Hansika Motwani said, "I thank the Minister on this occasion. I urge everyone to watch and encourage our movie when it comes out."
Director Srinivas Omkar said, "The Minister has made it to the teaser launch event today even though he had some other work. We thank Hansika garu for going out of her way to be here today to support us."
The producer said that Hansika made it to the event even though the housing complex where she stays in Mumbai is a containment zone.
