Nagarjuna-Karthi Film Muhurat

King Nagarjuna and Awaara Karthi starrer new film was launched on Wednesday, February 11, at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. Prasad V Potluri is producing the untitled film under super hit films production house PVP Cinema banner as production No.9. Director Vamsi Paidipally, who is known with the films ‘Munna’, ‘Brindavanam’ and ‘Yevadu’, is directing this multi-starrer film.

Amala sounded the clap board for the muhurat shot which was canned on Nagarjuna and Karthi, while PVP’s wife Mrs. Jhansi Sureddi switched on the camera. Vamshi Paidipally’s wife Mrs. Malini Paidipally directed the first shot. The film is being made simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages. The film launch function of the Tamil version will be held on February 28 in a grand way in Chennai.

Speaking at the film launch function, King Nagarjuna said, “I was super excited by the script narrated by Vamsi and I was very excited to start shooting it. I felt that I’ve listened to a good script in the recent times. I’m sure the film will definitely be a different multi-starrer. PVP is planning the film in a high level.”

Addressing the gathering, Karthi said, “All my Tamil films became big hit in Telugu also. I’m very happy that my first straight Telugu film is being made in Tamil also. I’m so happy that I’m working with a top hero like Nagarjuna and with a prestigious banner like PVP for my first Telugu film. I’m very confident that the film will impress all Telugu and Tamil audience.”

Music composer Gopi Sunder said, “PVP sir, who bought the right of ‘Bangalore days’, was impressed with my music in Tamil version and given me the opportunity to do in Telugu version also. The recently released ‘Malli Malli Idi Raani Roju’ brought good recognition to me. I hope this film starring Nagarjuna and Karthi in the lead role will also bring good name and recognition to me.”

Speaking on the occasion, director Vamsi Paidipally said, “The first success of the film is that Nagarjuna and Karthi accepted to act in this. Nagarjuna and Karthi will be perfectly apt to the story. This is my first film with Nagarjuna. In the same way, I’m happy that I’m directing Karthik for his first Telugu film. I’m thankful to PVP sir for introducing me to the Tamil industry through this film. I’m very confident that the film which is being made under top production house like PVP Cinema banner will impress all sects of audience.”

Regular shooting of the film will starts from March 16, and it will complete by the end of June. The film will be shot in Hyderabad, Chennai and in Abroad.

King Nagarjuna, Awaara Karthi, Shruti Haasan and Jaya Sudha are playing important roles. Many prominat actors are playing other important roles in the film. PS Vinod, who handled the cinematography work for super hit film like ‘Manam’, is working for this too.
