Sasirekha Parinayam Success Meet

After winning enough Nandhi’s for ‘Chandamama’, Krishna Vamsi has once again made it with ‘Sashirekha Parinayam’. This Tarun-Genelia starrer has become the favourite film for many youngsters, produced by Sunkara Madhu Murali under Karthikeya Creations banner. Celebrating the success, the unit has arranged a success meet at Prasad Labs to share their happy feelings.

Director Krishna Vamsi, Tarun, Genelia, Ahuthi Prasad, Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry, Sivaji Raja, Paruchuri Gopalakrishna, Chadalavaada Srinivasa Rao and Suttivelu were the prominent at the success meet.

Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry said, “I would like to first congratulate Krishna Vamsi for winning three Nandi awards for ‘Chandamama’. He also designed ‘Sasirekha Parinayam’ with good relationships and family values which is his trade mark. The concept of the film has lead the film to the success path. Krishna Vamsi, himself being a talented director, knows how to extract the talent from his artists. Likewise he has brought out the hidden acting skills of Paruchuri Gopalakrishna by projecting him in a new angle”.

Director Krishna Vamsi while speaking, “I always discuss each and every small bit with my guru Seetharama Sastry. Even though the subject is female centric I liked it very much. The entire story revolves around Sashirekha. After watching ‘Bommarillu’ I decided that I got my Sashirekha. Both Genelia and Tarun have done cent percent justice to their roles. Of late we are hearing some news or other about killing their lover by attacking with acid. But in this film Tarun’s character is such that he is a patient and highly tolerating husband. Genelia too played a very lively role by portraying the feelings of a young girl in a very natural manner. I thank Chadalavada Srinivas Rao for coming forward to distribute this film. Paruchuri Gopalakrishna is a special compliement for me in this film”.

Paruchuri Gopalakrishna said that this film is nothing but a 2 hour discussion between the bride and bridegroom before their wedding. He expressed, “When I saw the heroine in this film, I wished to have one such daughter”.

“I’m very happy and fortunate enough to be part of such a wonderful film. I’m also happy to have worked with director like Krishna Vamsi. This film would remind every youngster who is longing to marry”, opined hero Tarun.

Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao said that the success of this film is the positive sign for Telugu film industry in 2009. “Our industry requires more and more directors like Krishna Vamsi who gives value to the Telugu culture and language in his films”, said he.

Senior comedian Suttivelu and Shivaji Raja also expressed their happiness for being part of the wonderful film and appreciated Krishna Vamsi for his tremendous job.
