Gaganam Trailer Launch
Akkineni Nagarjuna’s much awaited film ‘Gaganam’ which took shape under the direction of Radha Mohan is produced my Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations and Matinee Entertainments banner. The trailer of this flick was released today at Cinemax in Hyderabad.
The trailer launching event was attended by Akkineni Nagarjuna, Dil Raju, Dasarath, Poonam Kaur, Yana Gupta, Vamsi Paidipalli, Srikanth Addala, Sirish, Lakshman, Harshavardhan, Abburi Ravi, Ravi Prakash, etc.
Addressing the gathering Dil Raju said, “We have launched the trailer today and the movie will be released in February. ‘Gaganam’ is made with all required commercial elements. We released ‘Brindavanam’ last year and this is our first film on our banner this year. Nagarjuna garu is a special attraction of this film, hence the film is considered as very special. This movie would sure satisfy his fans and I’m pretty confident about the success of this film.”
Nagarjuna said, “2010 was a lucky year for me and in this year also I hope there will be a good start for me. The trailers of this movie gave me more confidence about the film’s success. On Dil Raju’s request I saw ‘Gaganam’ and felt very happy after watching it. I even sent a message to him stating it as ‘Excellent Movie’. I cannot predict the box office results, but I can surely say that ‘Gaganam’ will be yet another film like ‘Siva’ and ‘Annamayya’ films. The audience would accept the film genuinely after watching the film. I’m confident about that since the Telugu audience have the taste of watching new conceptual films. This is not just Nagarjuna’s film, but every character in this film has its own prominence. Every scene would touch the audience heart. Every role has its importance. The film showcases the psychological trauma of the passengers on a high jacked plane for 3 days. This would for sure be a good experimental film whether it will become successful or not. But I’m very confident that the audience would watch and appreciate this movie. After watching ‘Aakasamanta’ I wanted to work with that director and at the right time Dil Raju too had plans to make this film with me.”
All others who graced the function appreciated the film and Nagarjuna’s performance in it.
