Dr Rajendra Prasad and Kalyani starrer ‘Onamalu’ with a tagline ‘Manchi Gnapakam Laanti Cinema’, directed and produced by Kranti Madhav is releasing worldwide on July 27th. K Durga Devi is the presenter. Dr Rajendra Prasad, Kranti Madhav, Kadheer Babu, Thammudu Satyam and Chalapathi Rao organised a press meet on this occasion.

Dr Rajendra Prasad said, “I appeared in Navarasalu roles in my 35 years of film journey. I thank all my directors, producers and writers for making my journey successful. Kranti is a tasteful director who gave a film like ‘Onamalu’ after ‘Aa Naluguru’. I’m very lucky to get a film like ‘Onamalu’. Kranti stepped into our film industry with the intention of making a good film. While our mother gives life to us, father supports us and the teacher will teach us the directions. This ‘Onamalu’ is the film that tells the value of such wonderful teacher. This movie will take us back into our real world where we cherish our home town, our mother’s lap, bondings, love and so on. This movie will also tell what we are actually missing in our busy lives. As long as I was shooting for this film I could feel the warmth of my mother’s lap. I just can’t tell how excellently Kadheer Babu’s dialogues, Sirivennela’s lyrics and Koti’s music suited Tammudu Satyam’s story. We have made this wonderful film with a wonderful story and good heart. We are releasing the film on 27th, so I hope the audience will watch and enjoy the film.”

Khadeer Babu said, “I wrote dialogues for the first time. Only a great actor can do 100% justice for the writer’s strong dialogues. I am very lucky to write dialogues for Natakireeti Rajendra Prasad. There are certain emotional dialogues in this film. I believe that ‘Onamalu’ will be used as a lesson in our home.”

Director Kranti Madhav said, “Onamalu is a pure Telugu film. I worked on this story for about 11 months. Rajendra Prasad is aptly suitable hero for my story. I’ve learned a lot from him. I thank Hari Anumolu, Khadeer and Tammudu Satyam on this occasion. I hope the audience will bless me for making my first attempt in Telugu.”
