Moodu Mulla Bandham Title Song Launch

TV star Prabhakar is coming out with a mega serial titled ‘Moodu Mulla Bandham’, self-directed by him in lead role along with Vijay, Jaya Sheela and Priya. Bunty is providing the music. Two songs and a bit song was released on Friday in Hyderabad. While Tammareddy Bharadwaja released the title song, Prabhakar’s daughter baby Divija released the second song and main cast released the bit song. In a press meet held later Tammareddy Bharadwaja said, “Prabhakar has become successful as a director, producer and actor. Bunty is a wonderful music director who also won Nandi award. All songs are wonderful. I wish to see more family oriented serials like this in the near future. I wish for the success of the serial.”

Prabhakar said, “When demand arouse for stopping of dubbing serials, a TV channel stopped my straight serial. But at that juncture another channel encouraged me to do a serial. Only then a point on friendship has struck my mind. Hence I mixed friendship with family drama and prepared this story. I wrote this story based on my friendship with Suman. While Suman is a millionaire, I’m a common man. Yet he became my friend. Prabhakar wouldn’t have been at this stage without Suman. This serial is not based on my friendship with Suman, but story formed based on that. Vijay and I played friends in this serial. We are going to start this serial on 5th marking friendship day. It will be telecast at 7.30 PM in Gemini TV from Monday to Friday.”

Vijay said, “Many think that I’m a Tamilian because I mostly do Tamil serials. However I’m a Telugu speaking man and this is my second serial in Telugu. Earlier I opted out of a serial after doing 50 episodes. Reason being, lack of Telugu nativity. After that I was away from acting for 4 to 5 years. Since Prabhakar called and requested to do this serial I agreed to it. I knew Prabhakar through a game show. We even got into huge argument during that game show. Later I called him on phone over phone and felt sorry and he too felt the same. From then onwards we both have become good friends.”
