Bhai Triple Platinum Disc

The triple platinum disc function of Nagarjuna-Richa Gangopadhyay starer ‘Bhai’ was held on Thursday evening in Hyderabad. The film was directed by Veerabhadram and produced by Nagarjuna himself on Annapurna Studios Pvt Ltd., with Reliance Entertainment as its presenter. Devisri Prasad composed the music. The film is opening to theaters on Friday.

Nagarjuna presented the triple platinum discs to the unit members. He said, “I could find the positive vibes in this film. I’m sure it will be a hit. My father sent ‘All the Best’ message from hospital to the entire team of ‘Bhai’. Devisri did ‘Manmadhudu’, ‘Mass’ and ‘Dhamarukam’ in the past and now ‘Bhai’ is the latest in our combination. There are several hit songs in our combination. I’ll always be grateful to him. Several people are asking why Annapurna Production house has collaborated with Reliance. The reason is corporation houses have financial discipline. Annapurna banner is presently active by doing films in a row.”

Veerabhadram said, “We worked hard for 18 months for this film. There was tremendous response for teaser and music in youtube and twitter. ‘Bhai’ will create a festive mood for Nag fans. It’s going to be a mass movie in 27 years of Nag’s career. I narrated the story to him after completing ‘Poola Rangadu’. He liked the story and instantly gave his nod. He even asked me to go ahead with Devisri’s music on my request. Devi rendered outstanding music.”

Devisri Prasad said, “Songs have come out from the story narrated by Veerabhadram. I worked with Nagarjuna garu for ‘Manmadhudu’ during my upcoming period only. He is a sweet person with no ego. He is very honest and frank. I like all these traits in him. He congratulated me when ‘Attharintiki Daaredhi’ became a hit. He is great human-being. I know Veerabhadram since ‘Shankar Dada Zindabad’. I watched his earlier movies and enjoyed a lot. ‘The output of ‘Bhai’ is great.”

Ananth Sriram said, “I penned the ‘Nemmadiga Nemmadiga…’ song very fast. I’ve not experienced love so far, but Devisri will always make me write love songs.”

Ramajogayys Sastry said, “The line ‘BHAI Bhai…’ struck my mind instantly when Veerabhadram narrated the story to me. So when he described about the playboy character, I got the second line. Devisri gave life to it with his composition. The song was picturised on Arabic backdrop. This song will attract small kids too. Veerabhadram made me write several versions. ‘Bhai’ will become a huge hit. I truly enjoy writing songs praising Nag.”

Bhaskara Bhatla said, “Nag is my favourite hero. I love to write songs for him. I wrote the song ‘Chilakamukku…’ in this film.”

Hamsa Nandini said, “I performed ‘Chilakamukku…’ song in this film. Devisri scored wonderful music. Thanks!”

Zara Shah of ’Life is Beautiful’ fame said, “I played sister character in ‘Bhai’. It is going to be a great movie.”
