Friend Request Press Meet

Aditya Om’s ‘Friend Request’ had its theatrical trailer launch event on June 19 at Film Chamber in Hyderabad. Former Chief Whip and MLC Rudraraju Padmaraju and prominent producer Ashok Kumar launched the theatrical trailer. The guests present at the event include Rohith, Prakash, Sagarika Chhetri, lyricist Taidalabapu, dialogue writer Raghava, executive producer Mohammad and some others.

Aditya Om is making this horror entertainer under his own direction under Modern Cinema banner with RRP Corporation Pvt. Ltd. and Bamla Enterprises as presenters in association with Vijay Varma Pakalapati. Apart from directing the film, Aditya Om has played a special role in this bilingual film which also features Seetal Singh, Achint Kaur, Sagarika Chhetri, Jal Chitra, Saida Jools, Manisha Kelkar, Richa Soni, Anusha Goutham, Prakash Sudarsan, Nithish Choudhary, Rohith and Pankaj in the key roles.

The film is being made simultaneously in Hindi as ‘Fun Freaked Facebook’ and in Telugu version as ‘Friend Request’.

Co-producer Vijay Varma Pakalapati said, “The film was set in the backdrop of social media. We are planning to release the film in the first half of July. ‘Friend Request’ is already doing buzz in social media. Technical wise, we have made the film in high standards. These days, when it became big task to release small budget films, the film has already did business in more than half areas. I am sure the film will impress everyone.”

Speaking at the teaser launch event, Aditya Om said, “I have readied the script two years back. Present youth have indeed become slaves of social media. ‘Friend Request’ is made with this concept and it has a message and horror entertainment. I will not say this is a wonderful film, but it will impress everyone. Despite being a small producer, I have made the film without compromising in terms of quality. Technical wise, we have made the film in high standards. I hope the film will impress everyone.”

“Working with Aditya Om garu is a wonderful and unforgettable journey. The film will have all entertaining elements along with message. I am sure the film will impress audience,” said hero Rohith.

“I consider myself lucky for being part of this wonderful film. I played a wonderful role. ‘Friend Request will have all elements to thrill audience,” said Prakash.

Taidala Bapu said, “I have penned 400 songs right from ‘6teens’ to the recently released ‘Pataas’. Writing songs for ‘Friend Request’ is a different experience. Aditya Om has crafted a wonderful film which suits to the present trend.”

Sagarika Chhetri said, “This is my first film in Telugu. We did hard work for 2 years. We wish and hope that audience will encourage our attempt by making the film a big success.”

Ashok Kumar said, “The film ‘Friend Request’ is a genuine attempt. Trailer is very impressive. Each and every frame is very clear. I wish this horror thriller will become big success.”
