With the first film becoming of a big banner, that too with houseful shows keeps a person afloat. If the person happens to be obsessed with what he or she does then the excitement multiplies. That is what one can talk about the girl who comes from the modeling cum acting family and also trained in the US as well as Mumbai. Some excerpts from the interview with the jubilant debutant, Tara Alisha, whose movie ‘100% Love’ under Sukumar’s direction on Geetha Arts banner is a run away success.

Speaking about her role in the film she said: “The role I played is of a modern independent girl who stands on her own feet.  It has similarity to what am I in real life.”

About her entry into films: “Actually I always wanted to join the movies.  So I signed with an agency called ….. in Bombay who also have a south agency.  Through this agency I got this role. Later when I met Sukumar sir, he liked me and that’s how I got this opportunity.”

About her opinion on director Sukumar & Geeta Arts banner: “I feel so lucky because Sukumar sir is such a creative director and it was a wonderful experience to work with him, and Geeta Arts banner is really fantastic.”

On her costars: “We had a good time on the sets since we all belong to the same age group. Tamanna, Naga Chaitanya, Ajith and I got along very well and we use to laugh around and have good time during the shooting period”.

On her desire to act:  “I went to a film school in California, which is Chapman University to study film production and also did an acting course.  I always wanted to be in films, but of course behind the camera and not in front of the camera.  Since I liked acting part also, I  once again did an acting course in Mumbai, where Chaitu was trained.  That’s it.”

About her family background: “My mother was a model when she was younger.  Her name is Nandini Sen.  She was the top model in her time. So I guess it’s a kind of in the genes, but at that time she wasn’t acting and now she is also acting in Bollywood.”

When asked about her acting experience in a Telugu film she said: “Acting in any language would be fantastic, be it Bollywood or Telugu film industry. I’m passionate about acting and I can’t imagine doing anything else.  So far my experience in Telugu film industry has been amazing.  I absolutely love it.  People over here are very sweet and it’s been wonderful.”

On proficiency in language: For me, I love langanges.  So I’ve come to a stage where I can understand Telugu little bit but for me to reciprocate to the conversation, I lack knowledge in grammer.  But I’m sure that I would speak very soon since I’m very quick in learning languages.”

About Naga Chaitanya: “Regarding the screen presence with Chaitanya, so far the response has been very good.  I can say that working with him is too much fun and we had a great time.”

About her dancing skills: “I love dancing. I have done Kathak and Bollywood dancing.  But now I need to do a dance for proper south Indian song.  That’s what I’m dying to do and I need to do that very soon.”

About her song in 100% Love: “I really loved my song in the film and would keep humming along with Tamanna on the sets even though I didn’t listened to the whole track.”

About her interest in specific role: “I would love to play a full length bubbly type of character, something like a chatter box type of character and that’s how I’m in real life as well.”

She expressed her happiness saying that the film ‘100% Love’ is doing good everywhere and that she is happy about the positive response from the audiences.
