Ram Charan Tej, who’s coming up with his latest mass masala entertainer claims that ‘Racha’ is different from his earlier films. According to him he will be seen in one such role that would surely impress his fans. ‘Racha’ is all set hit theaters worldwide on April 5th. Marking his birthday on Tuesday, Ram Charan spoke to the media on Monday in Hyderabad. Here are few excerpts:

About ‘Racha’ he said, “Racha is a film with complete commercial values. It has a different screenplay. I agreed to do this film with Sampath Nandi because I was confident about his story. He has shown a command of story and of visual structure that he narrated it to me. ‘Racha’ is sure a visual feast to audiences.”

About the remix song ‘Vaana..Vaana’ he commented, “Sampath Nandi approached me first with the idea of remixing ‘Vaana Vaana’ song. After dancing for ‘Bangaru Kodi Petta’ in ‘Magadheera’, I thought it’s not a bad idea. I don’t have any sentiments like my films will become hits only if I include my dad’s songs in it. I really like the song ‘Vaana Vaana’, especially the dance movements and expressions. The song has come out extremely well. Cameraman Sameer Reddy has showcased me as a very handsome guy. Infact I looked fairer than Tamannah on the screen. But let’s wait to see what the audience will say about it.” (smiles)

About Pawan Kalyan’s response to ‘Racha’ music he said, “Uncle Pawan Kalyan listened to all ‘Racha’ songs. According to him ‘Vaana Vaana’ song is the best among all and I liked ‘Dillaku Dilla’ a lot. Right now we are shooting that song only. Even though there is pain in my leg, I’m taking pain killers and attending the shootings only because we wanted to release the film as per the scheduled time. Many say that my dances are good, but I personally feel Bunny dances better than me.”

Speaking about his co-star NTR he said, “NTR and I are in the same industry. He is my co-actor and a good friend of mine. I’ve no objection to act with him provided any filmmaker comes out with an impressive story. For the launch of ‘Badshah’, NTR and I together went in the same car.”

When asked why he did not attend Nandi Awards function he said, “Since I was busy shooting for ‘Racha,’ I couldn’t attend the Nandi awards function. Hence uncle Allu Aravind garu received the award on behalf of me.”

About his Bollywood debut film ‘Zanjeer’ he commented, “It’s too early to talk about that film now. ‘Zanjeer’ will go on the sets soon. So there is enough time to discuss about that later.”

When asked about his father’s 150th film, he replied: “No doubt, I’m the producer for my dad’s 150th film and I keep saying it everyday. I’ll be the happiest person on earth to be part of my dad’s 150th film.”
