Prominent distributer DVV Sita Rama Raju, who has been in the film industry since 4 decades, has earned great experience in the distribution department. He was recognized as a successful distributer and won the tag as Vizag Raju by distributing many super-duper hit films in Vizag area. Now, he is introducing his son Satya Karthik through this film. Satya Karthik, whose biggest passions are films and whose dream is to become a hero since childhood, is making his debut as hero through ‘Tippu’. DV Sita Rama Raju is producing the film under Adithya Films banner with introducing Jagadeesh Daneti as director. Vizag Raju DVV Sita Rama Raju’s son Satya Karthik, Phamela and Kanika Kapur starrer ‘Tippu’ has completed the censor formality and is all set for worldwide release on June 12. ‘Warrior of Love’ is the tag line. In his recent interview with the media, he talked all about his character in ‘Tippu’ and about working with director Jagadeesh Daneti etc.

‘Tippu’ is coming soon to the theaters. How do you feel?
The film came out wonderfully. I’ve watched the first copy and I was very excited like everyone by watching me on the screen. Mani Sharma’s music and re-recording, Rajasekhar’s camera handling and Jagadeesh Daneti’s taking and all came out excellently.

What inspired you to choose the cinema field?
I brought up in the cinema atmosphere and hence films became my passion. When I was a child, Kalyan garu said that I will become a hero within 10 years and that has given additional energy to my strong desire. After I grew up, I asked my father about my ambition. He suggested me to wait for some time. In the meantime, I’ve taken training under Satyanand garu and after that here I took training in fights and dances.

What character did you play in the film?
I played a NRI guy. There is a small flashback in the film about why I returned to India. The concept of the story is related to the Tippu palace in Mysore and a small love story will also run along with that. It’s a good commercial entertainer with all elements.

How was the working experience with debut director?
Jagadeesh Daneti had worked as an assistant director under Puri Jagannath and Vinayak. He has crafted ‘Tippu’ wonderfully. Rajasekhar’s cinematography and Mani Sharma’s music stood as big advantage to his working style.

Which hero’s films you watched mostly?
I used to watch all films in my childhood. But I watched mostly Chiranjeevi’s films because my father used to distribute his films mainly.

Tell us about senior artist support to you?
I’ve worked with many senior artists like Nagababu, Chalapathi Rao and MS Narayana. We discussed in the sets how to improvise each and every scene. In that situations, senior artists have given lot of support.

Do you have any friends in the film industry?
Varun Tej and I took training under Satyanand master in the same batch. I established a good rapport with him during that time. He is very busy and so he didn’t watch the film.

Tell us about heroine Kanika Kapur?
Kanika Kapur is a Delhi girl. She is an excellent co-star. At first she bothered with the language for dialogues, but soon she got the grip with the language.

What’s about your next film under Chuniya’s direction?
Actually, my first film was supposed to be under Raghavendra Rao’s direction. But, due to some unexpected reasons it didn’t went on to sets. I met Chuniya there. She approached me with a subject and I accepted to work with her. At present, the film is at shooting stage. Right now, I’m busy with ‘Tippu’ promotions. Once I complete this work, I will join the shooting sets of the film.

What are your next projects after this film?
Now I’m doing a film under Chuniya’s direction. One story in Telugu and Tamil languages is in the pipeline but we have not yet finalized. We will reveal the details soon.
