After a gap of two years, Hansika Motwani is back in Telugu with the movie, 'Tenali Ramakrishna B.A. B.L.'. This movie, which also stars Sundeep Kishan, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar among others, will release on 15th November. Hansika has talked about her comeback in Telugu, why she has acted in this movie and more.
I worked with G.Nageshwar Reddy previously on 'Dhenikaina Ready' and when he approached me with this fun script, I signed it immediately as I liked my role very much.
Gap in Telugu
It's really unfortunate that I am not able to do movies in Telugu regularly and taking a gap of two years for every movie. It's all because I am busy in Tamil. But whenever I find time and get a good script, I make sure that I do a Telugu movie. Language is not an issue for me. I will do a movie in any language if the script is good.
Didn't feel insecure
Varalakshmi is a very good actress and I enjoyed working with her. I didn't feel insecure about sharing screen space with her. I don't feel insecure working with any other actress for that matter. Directors now a days are coming with good roles for everyone.
I am always ready to do negative roles. Though I haven't done any full-fledged negative role, I did some roles with grey shades. I think it's not easy to do comedy and villainy roles. I hope I will get such roles in the future.
I am very satisfied with my career. I've done more than 50 films so far and if not for the support of the producers, directors and media it wouldn't have been possible. I am grateful to all who have been supporting me.
I've signed four Tamil movies. I am also doing a web series for Amazon, directed by Ashok. I've been offered a very exciting role in that series.
