'Hyderabad Designer Week' in February 2010

Exclusive and niche annual 3 day b2b and b2c couture event - "Hyderabad Designer Week" is being organized in Hyderabad in February 2010 at HICC Novotel.

40 top of the line models, leading designers like Archana Kochchar, Garima Ambika and Jattin Kochchar besides 12 other new designers across India will be show casing their ensembles in this first couture event of twin cities.

Apart from fashionistas showcasing their ensembles by way of fashion shows, the event will also feature an exhibition cum business section wherein, participating designers, boutiques and accessories manufacturers will display their products. This section will be open to public.

Speaking to the media, Mr Kalpesh Shah - Event Director of Hyderabad Designer Week 2010 said "We are organizing this niche event in order to bring out the latent talent in twin cities to the fore and put Hyderabad on the fashion map of India". "Hyderabad Designer Week" will be an annual event and we are confident that this will be a premier couture calendar event in India in a short span of time" he added

Mr Shah further said "Our promoter partner 'Marks Media Communication', a leading PR firm in the twin cities has been instrumental in roping top Tollywood stars as celebrity invitees and be a part of this niche event, which has scaled the event to a larger platform" he quipped.

Mr Avinash Mahurkar stated that" we are inviting and hosting buyers during this event to give them a feel of the business potential of this region. In order to facilitate this concept of couture business in Hyderabad, we are creating an exhibition and display arena which will showcase designers ensemble, boutiques and accessories and a world class business environment for business transactions replete with business lounges and business cafes equipped with internet facilities etc". By the virtue of Novotel HICC being our hospitality partner we will be able to create a world business environment " , he summed up.
