About Hyderabad Chapter of Ohara School of Ikebana - Hyderabad Chapter, Ohara Ikebana is a voluntary, non-profit organization aiming at spreading the art of Ikebana (Japanese flower arrangement). Founder Advisor Late Grand Master Horyu Meena Anantnarayan started Ohara study group in 1983, which was prelude to chapter in 1988. The Hyderabad Chapter with strength of over 350 members has become very active and has held many exhibitions, conducted workshops and Ikebana demonstrations.
About Exhibition- The Hyderabad Chapter of Ohara School of ikebana is organizing its Annual Ikebana Exhibition - “GURU SAMHITHA” on March 30, 2019 at A La Liberty which was inaugurated by Chief Guest Ms. Mangala Bhatt (Director, Aakruti Kathak Kendra, Hyderabad) and Guest of Honour Ms. R. Laxmi Reddy (Prof. Art & Design, NIFT, Hyderabad) at 11.00 A.M.
Chapter President Ms. Sharmila Agarwal said that the exhibition is organized every year to celebrate the birth anniversary of Late Founder Advisor Horyu Meena Anantnarayan.
Chapter Secretary Ms. Anisha Tandon mentioned that the exhibition will help in spreading the awareness about the art as it will be open to public viewing after inauguration till 5.00 P.M on March 30, 2019.
