Guru Nanak Institutions Golden Jubilee Celebrations
Computer Society of India, a premier technical professional society in India incepted in the year 1965 is celebrating its Golden Jubilee year. As part of its Golden Jubilee Celebrations, Guru Nanak institutions, Ibrahimpatnam is hosting Annual students' convention 2014, in collaboration with Computer Society of India during Jan 03rd & 4th 2015.
Hon'ble Governor Shri. E. S. L. Narasimhan has consented as the Chief Guest on the Inaugural Oay i.e. Jan 03rd 2015, from 11.00 am. Dr. S. S. Mantha, Chairman, AICTE will be the Guest of Honor and Dr. S. V. Raghavan, Scientific Secretary to the Prime Minister of India will be delivering the keynote address. Shri K.T. Rama Rao, Hon'ble IT & Panchayat Raj Minister for Telangana State Government has consented to grace the valedictory function on 4th January 2015.
Speaking on the occasion Sardar G.S. Kohli, Vice-Chairman Guru Nanak Institutions said GNI is proud to host such a massive event, we are delighted to have the presence of Hon'ble Governor Shri. E. S. L. Narasimhan as the Chief Guest, Dr. S.S Mantha- Chairman-AICTE-New Delhi as Guest Of Honour and Dr. S.V Raghavan-Scientific Secreatary to Prime Minister of India to deliver the key note address, the presence of great personalities boost the confidence of young students and initiates a new horizon of learning among students.
Sardar G.S Kohli added that the main purpose of this student convention is to motivate the students in computer Science Engineering and other disciplines and facilitate the initiative to understand the expectations of the industry /corporate, for industry ready graduates from campuses. The theme of this event is "Campus to Corporate and Beyond"
Dr. H. S. Saini, Managing Director of Guru Nanak Institutions said that around 2000 students are here to participate in this two days students annual convention. Cultural programs are part of the event at the end of the first day session. Around 40 eminent speakers from industry and academics share their experiences to the students in the technical sessions such as 1) Campus to corporate 2) Career opportunities 3) Entrepreneurship 4) Employment opportunities in Public Sector 5) Technology Enablement in Education 6) Students Paper Presentatiorfjon Innovations, he added that the core members of Computer Society of India, Hyderabad chapter Shri. Chandra Dsaka, Shri. Bibin Sandeyala and Shri. Raju Kanchibotlp, have played active role towards the execution and conduction of the event.
Dr. Saini further added that this eveAt has been meticulously planned by Sardar G.S. Kohli, Vice-Chairman and Team Heads GNI. Further the Director, Associate Directors, HODs, staff and students have played a major role in bringing this event a grand success. Special care has been taken for the accommodation of the out station participants and in house arrangements have been made for the same.
