Vimala Raman bails out RJ Hemanth
Hyderabad, March 11th, 2012: Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM, Hyderabad’s hottest radio station & Big Bazaar, the flagship hypermarket retail chain of Future in an effort to combat the woes of pollution and harmful living proudly presented the ‘Big Bazaar - Mirchi Clean Hyderabad’, a campaign that encouraged the residents of Hyderabad to help make the city clean.
Radio Mirchi and Big Bazaar set out to create awareness about the hazards of a harmful eco system. Tollywood star actors Vimala Raman, Shashank & Sarvanand of Gamyam fame bailed & out Radio Mirchi’s RJ Hemant as 50,000 people take a step towards better living and keeping the city of Hyderabad clean. RJ Hemanth had locked himself up at the Big Bazaar, Kachiguda store, until 50,000 citizens exchanged their unused household junk for a cleaner and greener environment. Big Bazaar also rewarded all the people who supported the cause by giving a coupon in return as a value to the old Items; These exchange coupons will be valid for 7 days to a month and can then be utilized by them to purchase new items at the store.
RJ Hemant successfully urged over 50,000 people to exchange their unused household Items at the Kachiguda store as the first step towards a clean Hyderabad. The 3 day long initiative which ended on March 11, 2012 was marked by the presence of well known celebrities Vimala Raman & Sarvanand, applauding the efforts of Hyderabadis and bailing RJ Hemant out, thus helping curb the effects of pollution and embracing a cleaner and healthier way of life.
