NHCC and HICC wins HRAAP Cricket Tournament

Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre (NHCC) & Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) wins the HRAAP (Hotels and Restaurants Association of Andhra Pradesh) Cricket Tournament

Novotel hits with a slamming victory in the finals Hyderabad 20th March 2013:- Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre (NHCC) and Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) have won the inter-hotels cricket tournament organized by Hotels and Restaurants Association of Andhra Pradesh (HRAAP). The trophy was given to the winning team by Joint Secretary - H.R.A.A.P: Ravish G. Daway at a glittering award ceremony hosted by in HICC which was followed by a gala dinner.

The HRAAP tournament was a great success with all top hotels in the city including Avasa, Taj Vivanta, Minerva Grand, Marriott, NHCC etc taking part in the event. The competition was held amidst bubbling energy and enthusiasm of all the teams. The tournament's sporting spirit was further fuelled by the nail biting finals held between Novotel and The Central Court on 13th March 2013 at Secunderabad Club where NHCC and HICC won the match by 5 wickets. Mr. Amaresan Jodhiswar was adjudged the man of the match for his breezy 35 runs in 31balls with two sixes and three fours.

The League match was held on 20th February 2013 between Novotel Accor & Taj Vivanta. Novotel Accor won by 4 Wickets making 142 Runs & Mr. Harpreet was the Man of the Match with 44 Runs. In Quarter Finals Novotel Accor won against Marriot by 40 Runs, scoring 158 Runs & Mr. Nelson was the Man of the Match scoring 54 Runs. The Semi Finals were held on 11th March 2013; Novotel Accor had an easy win in cricket match against Minerva Grand by 8 wickets. The Final match was with The Central Court, where Novotel Accor won with 144 / 5 in 18.2 Overs. Speaking on the occasion Mr. Anarid Gan/ eshan Resident Manager NHCC & HICC said "We are extremely delighted as our team has won the HRAAP tournament. It is a very proud moment for our entire staff and we would like to congratulate the team for their inavathcent victory. We also want to thank HRAAP for organizing such initiatives which provide an excellent platform for the hospitality industry professionals to build familiarity and sporting spirit".
