Olive Bistro launches the Bar Nights with the Showcase of Shantanu & Nikhil's Fall Winter Collection'13

The Olive Bistro, the latest offering from the Olive Bar & Kitchen, one of the finest restaurant brands in the country, recently opened its doors to food aficionados in Hyderabad.

Olive Bistro today launched its Signature Bar Nights with an exclusive preview of Shantanu & Nikhil's stunning Fall Winter '13 collection.

Olive Bistro's terrace bar offering complements this evening perfectly with a vibrant range of domestic & imported wines, exotic martinis and frozen and regular margaritas. Olive's signature Spanish Sangria and house infused vodkas sets the mood for a night of style, camaraderie, conversation and dancing with old friends and new. Also on the menu are a selection of Signature cocktails like the Lotta, voted the best cocktail by Bacardi, Pink Devil, infusion of Vodka, Malibu and Cranberry juice, Cool Mule and the classic Mojito.

Marking the 1st Anniversary of the Shantanu & Nikhil's Haute Couture Flagship store in Hyderabad, the duo brings through a private showcase, The Fall Winter '13 collection which defines the decadent renaissance period in its most contemporary form, focusing on the rebirth of intellectual and creative energy. The beauty of the human body was discovered once again in all its splendour of understated opulence, luxury and elegance.

Culling the essence and emotions of Indian culture and marrying it with a modern western sensibility, Shantanu & Nikhil have a deeper, less obvious take on this new exotic fusion. Their ensembles present eternal femininity draped in lush classicism. With their unique subtext of delicate details, simple harmonies and rich textural formats, the brand has come to epitomize refinement and luxury in fashion.

Olive Bar & Kitchen opened its first outlet in Mumbai in November 2000. It became an overnight sensation and won recognition both across India and on an international level. The Fall Winter 13/14 collection defines the decadent renaissance period in its most contemporary form, focusing on the re-birth of intellectual and creative energy. The beauty of the human body is discovered once again in all its splendour of understated opulence, luxury and elegance. Ornamented surface details of the divine gold, cutting uniformly across the collection, strongly reflects the controlled fashion mannerisms of the new-age bride.

The collection emphasizes on 'New Luxury^ which would, by contrast, be declared virtuous. Sharply constructed silhouettes, measured materials innovation and humble layering tould be identified with a republican spirit, civil sociability, and politeness. The appearance of gold leaf & booti patterns, meanwhile create a softer, more delicate style, thereby portraying women as distinctly feminine.

Gold, in its different shades, would be the new black hence indicating a sumptuous colour restraint, while still reinforcing the message of vintage decadence.
