The Eagles Fest at The Hyderabad Public School
A Literary, Cultural & Creative Inter School Fest The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet is hosting The Eagles Fest — a three-day cultural and literary festival that promises to bring to the same platform celebrated talent in debates, declamation, drama, music, dance, quiz & many more activities from some of the best schools in the city. The Eagles Fest is part of the 90th year celebrations of the school. This cultural and literary festival is no ordinary banquet The fest ranges from Street Plays to Short Film Making, From Turn Coat Debates to Cooking spread over three days.
The inauguration function would be held on the 9th of November 2013 ant in the New Dining Hall. Maj. Gen. Cherish Mathson, SM, VSM - General Officer Corn [Banding (Bison Division) has kindly consented to be the Chief guest .
The Valedictory function would be held on the 9th NJ/ember, 2013 at 4pm in the New Dining Hall in the presence of prominent Alumni. Prizes for The Eagles Fest Champion School, Cultural Championship, Literary Championship & Creative Championship trophies would be announced & distributed to the Winning schools.
THE EAGLES FEST
The Hyderabad Public School (erstwhile Jagirdars College) is one of the oldest and most prestigious public schools in India. It was established as Jagirdars College in 1923 & was considered a seat of excellence for educating the members of the then Indian aristocracy. The lagirdars College was rechristened into The Hyderabad Public School in 1952 with its portals open to all stratas of society. The schools administrative body is a non-profit organisation called The Hyderabad Public School Society, the founding President of which was His Excellency the Late Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the 2nd President of India.
The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet is presently situated in the heart of the city of Hyderabad on a lush 150-acre campus with majestic buildings & sporting fields.
